Face Tattoos: Hot or Not?
A good friend of mine recently got a tattoo on his face, his jawline to be exact. The tattoo artist did a great job, however, I can not help but wonder why in the hell he would tattoo his face. I understand everyone tattoos for a different reason, but find myself thinking of what the ramifications from a facial tattoo will bring.
I have saw many tattoos on the face over the years, but to be honest only one has ever struck me as hot. You know the stars around Kat Von D’s eye? That’s it. I truly feel that fits her personality, and by her being a professional tattoo artist, I guess it does not matter where she has tattoos.
The average working man or woman with a facial tattoo is bound to run into issues with their face being an art piece…. Right? At least I would think so, especially in the mind of those who do not understand tattooing. I personally never judge anyone, but I do know how our world is and many people do.
I mean how many doctors, bankers, or investors do you know with tattoos on their face? I do not know of any.
So I would love to hear from someone with facial tattoos as to how it has affected your life, positive or negative.
I also would love to know everyone’s opinion on facial tattoos. Hot or not?

I totally agree with you. Face and hand tattoos really limit one’s employment options. For that reason alone, I would never get one. I agree with you that Kat’s face tattoo is hot, but hers is the only profession where it would be acceptable to have them.
I don’t care if others have them, but face tattoos are not hot to me.
I agree that Kat’s stars on her face suit her and do not detract from her attractiveness. Most people would not be able to get away with that look. I don’t think in the grand scheme of things that facial tattoos are a very good idea for men or women, but to each their own and they live with the prejudices that will come with having facial tattoos. I get enough looks with the tat I have on the inside of my left wrist so I won’t even think about the face or neck.
